Getting honest feedback is one of the smartest steps you can take before publishing. A thoughtful beta read can reveal what’s resonating—or missing the mark—long before your book hits the shelves. It’s not just helpful; it can be transformative.
When I read your manuscript, I approach it the way a real reader would—immersed in the story, noting reactions, emotions, and questions as they arise. You'll get a clear picture of how your book lands with someone who reflects your intended audience.
What You Receive
📄 Reader Report (up to 3 pages)
A clear, honest breakdown of what stood out, including:What’s working—and what’s not
Noted plot holes, logic gaps, or moments of confusion
Insight into character dynamics: who feels real, who feels off, and why
A quick 1–10 rating of the overall reading experience
And more
📘 Commented Manuscript
Your manuscript will be returned with margin comments that reflect my real-time reactions—moments of engagement, confusion, emotion, or detachment. These are purely reader-focused and don’t include editorial or structural suggestions.

Important Note:
I only work in Microsoft Word since it is easiest to maintain the standard manuscript formatting. I do not make exceptions. All project work must be submitted according to the formatting guidelines below, which averages to about 250-300 words per page and requires the following specifications:
Letter-sized paper
Times New Roman font
12-point font size
Double-spaced text
One-inch margins
